Anthropology #1
Anthropology is the study of human culture and how its behavior affects the world's environment and society today. When researching into a career I found that anthropology can be used in fields of marketing, human resources, forensics, and museums. Anthropology has 4 fields: archeology, biological anthropology, cultural anthropology, and linguistic anthropology. Each one is involved in studying the human culture and its behavior but each one has its unique qualities and career paths. The average pay for an anthropologist is $30k to $40.3k but it depends on what the job and environment are. When I researched universities in this field I found many schools that provided it. It is not an essential major in universities such as medicine or law but it is such an intricate topic of study and discussion. The Washington University in St. Louis is the leading institution in anthropology and has a high success rate in graduates in that major. I tried researching careers in anthropology with high pay but it was difficult trying to find many because the field of archeology and anthropology don't have many high-paying jobs. In conclusion, I discovered that to take this seriously into a career path in the future, you must have a true passion for it and dedicate everything you have to support yourself as an adult.
